Welcome to a new part of The College Crush….Reality Romance.  We know how much you like your reality shows and we are here to help you laugh and learn from their ridiculousness.  Starting this fall, we will being have an amazing panel of ladies that are going to not only recap your favorite shows, but help you learn from their disasters and debacles.  We are starting it off right with some brilliant thoughts from one of our college ladies, Ashley on last night’s season debut of Jersey Shore.  Check it!

Underneath the orange glow of self-tanner and the mist of full-volume hair spray, real situations occurred last night on MTV’s premiere of Jersey Shore –Italia.  After arriving in beautiful Florence, the guidos withstood culture shock when they realized that a significant language barrier stood between them and the gorgeous Italian women. This may be why the boys finally resorted to hooking up within their own circle.  DJ Pauly D and second year veteran, Deena, played a disturbing game of tongue hockey at the club leaving many viewers wondering if this could be a potential relationship. Meanwhile Mike, better known as The Situation, admitted to not only hooking up with, but also having feelings for everyone’s favorite party girl, Snooki. And if this wasn’t enough, Sam and Ron, the official break-up-and-get-back-together-couple couldn’t help but notice how good one another looked. Now that’s a house filled with sexual tension! So which couple is most likely DTF?

Pauly D and Deena: 70% Chance

This may be a good bet seeing as though neither person believes in commitment. Even though they lasted for an entire season without “smushing,” temptation was high for both parties in Italy. Deena is clearly the aggressor thus far, but given his track record (and his tongue action), it is obvious that Pauly wouldn’t mind “getting it in” as well.

Snooki and Mike: 30% Chance

Even though Mike swears that the two have already “smushed,” all evidence puts to the contrary. Snooki seems to be happy in her committed relationship and wasn’t giving Mike any signs of interest at the club. She often pulled away and even relied on JWoww for a rescue. The only thing working against her is the long distance relationship… well that, and Mike’s abs of steel.

Sam and Ron: 99.9% Chance

Come on, have you seen the last three seasons? These two are totally going to hook up (and then break up)! Even though both are going by the titles of “Single Sam” and “Single Ron,” the sexual tension between the former couple is clear. Insert booze and a “Jerzday” mentality and trouble in bound to ensue.

Although none of these hook-ups are yet confirmed, viewers are at least confident in the fact that the “Smush Room” will be put to good use. Put a bunch of testosterone-filled Italians with enough pairs of fake boobs and well, you got yourself a situation.
