Nice Guy Of The Week: Alan {A Kira & Brit Nomination!}

Ladies, this week we have a very special edition of Nice Guy of the Week. Why? Because this guy is nominated by yours truly and Kira herself!

Now I know what you’re thinking… are we just loitering around college bars and trying to meet randoms so we can pimp them out on our site? Eh, not exactly.

Kira & I road tripped up to the University of Michigan-Dearborn last week for a speaking engagement she had. And it just so happens that we met some of the coolest, awesomest, nicest college guys around! So, obviously, I took some pictures whether they liked it or not…. yes, with the intention of pimping them out on our site.

Alright, here’s the deal:

Why does Alan rock?

Well, Kira and I had to think long and hard about this because there were so many reasons!

First, Alan is awesome. And cute. And he’s quasi metro so he’s got good style. But those things have nothing to do with the fact that he’s a nice guy… they are just bonuses! Alan is the kind of guy that wants a nice girl to take out and talk over martinis. He’s mature. He’s creative and thoughtful. When we were at lunch, someone said, “There’s nothing to do in this town.” Alan responded, “There is, you just don’t know where to look.” And now that he is totally creeped out cus I remembered that, we’re going to move on.

Anyway, the point is that Alan will plan awesome dates.

So why is he single? Well, he’s sort of shy when it comes to approaching girls and doesn’t want them to think he is the d-bag in the bar trying to hit on them. But, he’s anything but shy once you start talking to him. He’s snarky and funny and had us cracking up! He will shock you with his pop culture knowledge and although he swears he doesn’t watch Glee, he can tell you every detail about it. (Yep, I said it Alan!) Not only that, but he took us to get the world’s best pizza and that goes a long way with two hungry girls.

Alan rocks. Where were these guys when I was in college?
